Legal, Forensic and Expert Witness Testimony
Dr. Hatzakis has been providing legal, forensic and expert witness testimony for over 15 years. He is retained by plaintiff attorneys, defense firms, disability carries, auto collision carries and the department of labor and industries. Dr. Hatzakis is also credentialed with all major IME companies, such as Genex Services, ExamWorks, MMO, Medconnect, and AdvancedMGI.
Dr. Hatzakis has a strong reputation for being unbiased and fair to both sides. He does not believe his expert opinion should be based on who hires him and, as such, stands up to cross-examination. His expert opinions are unbiased and are honest and direct.
He works with both plaintiff and defense attorneys and is often chosen as an independent mediator when both defense and plaintiff firms need an unbiased opinion.
Dr. Hatzakis performs nearly all forms of legal and forensic work. Includes medical records reviews, disability evaluations for disability carriers, independent medical examinations including records reviews and examinations. He is well versed in working with motor vehicle collision carriers, WA State Labor and Industries and is well versed in performing L&I disability rating evaluations. He is also experienced working with Federal Lab cases and maritime cases
He has extensive experience in depositions and court trials. He strives to keep an equal balance between plaintiff and defense cases. He takes malpractices cases selectively.
